ABOUT ME
​
I am originally from the Bay Area and I am focused on providing a holistic approach to psychotherapeutic care to the community in which I grew up. I am a husband, father and son who continually looks to integrate my learned experiences into practice.
I graduated from Saint Mary’s College of CA with a Master in Marriage family therapy, Career, and College counseling. I served as a counselor intern providing community based mental health services to the local community. I also previously worked in higher education for twelve years. Providing administrative and counseling services to local community college students from a range of diverse backgrounds.
I practice a person-centered approach to counseling while incorporating psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral based modalities into my therapeutic practice. I continue to learn and incorporate holistic and somatic practices into my counseling as well as providing clients with an integrative experience. I am especially passionate about expanding mental health access and education to men providing a safe space for them heal and grow. I also have experience providing counseling to a diverse range of client and considers himself an ally to the LGBTQ and undocumented communities.
I look forward to working side by side with patients to create a healing space to explore as well as move towards growth and healing.
